Advertising is such an interesting topic, whether to advertise or not and then what platform to use to advertise your small to mid size business and who to target as well as what to say. Your message is one of the most important factors in advertising that will literally make or break your goals and expectations. 

So now you’ve decided you want to do some advertising for your company; so what’s the next step? Deciding HOW to deliver your message is one of the biggest decisions when considering advertising.  The first step in deciding what to say is determining what you need to promote or push for your company to achieve the results they need. 

Good communication between you and your marketing team is a great start! But deciding between Call-To-Action advertising or Brand Advertising may make all the difference in your companies marketing campaign.  Read further to learn more about which choice may be the best for your company. Call-To-Action Advertising:

Call-To-Action advertising is a great way to get potential customers interested in your business as a direct result of your advertisement! Giving customers a coupon or sale to entice them to buy now will help bring more traffic to your company.  A great example of this would be the sale in department stores.  They advertise sales and as a result customers come in looking for those specific sales.  Call-To-Action is a great way to quickly bring customers come in, but unfortunately it is not a long term fix.  Customers are likely to only come in during those sales or specials and not on a regular basis, but it is a great way to get bursts of business. 

Brand Advertising:

Brand Advertising is a great way to build your company’s reputation as a whole.  You have the choice to promote your entire company or just a specific section or product.  Opposite of Call-To-Action Advertising, Brand Advertising is more of a long term strategy.  Building a brand for your company may not give instant results, but creating a long term positive reputation will be productive for your company in the long run!
